Unlike previous administrations in Lagos State especially since the advent of this Republic, protests and allegations of marginalization by Ikorodu residents have reduced if not completely evaporated simply because the current administration of Mr Akinwunmi Ambode has within short period made his presence felt in Ikorodu.
THE IMPACT learnt that another High/Magistrate Court has been approved for Imota in Ikorodu Division which would be another milestone project and significantly help in speedy judicial process.
The construction of the proposed court we gathered will commence soon because the contract has been awarded. The proposed site, THE IMPACT gathered is close to the site where the Lagos State Commodities Market popularly called Mile 12 is relocated in Imota.
When contacted, the Ikorodu Constituency II representative in the Lagos State House of Assembly and Chairman, House Committee on Science & technology, Hon. Nurudeen Solaja confirmed the development to THE IMPACT.
“Of course, new High/Magistrate court has been approved for Imota and very soon the construction of the ultra modern court complex will commence. This is an attempt by the Lagos State Government to make administration of justice effective”
