Majority Leader Donates 5 Motorbikes, 45 Branded Jackets To Onyabo

-Onyabo pledged to sanitize Ikorodu

-Five pairs of boot donated by Onyabo leader

In his quest to rid Ikorodu of crimes and other criminalities, Hon. Sanai Agunbiade has donated 5 motorbikes and 45 branded jackets to the local Vigilance group, Onyabo.

The donation was made during his first year account of Stewardship of his representation in the 8th Assembly tagged, ‘Feed (from me – from you)’, which took place at the Ikorodu Town hall on Wednesday, July 20, 2016.

Hon Agunbiade while presenting the motorbikes and other items, pledged to continue supporting the vigilance group in making Ikorodu unsafe for the criminals.

“As a practical commitment to the security of lives and properties in the state, and  in  appreciation of the efforts and strides of our local security apparatus in Ikorodu ( The Onyabo) I will today, donate materials which includes 45 operational jackets and (5) five branded motorbikes for the use of Onyabo in the constituency. I pray to do more. “

Hon. Agunbiade who recalled his ordeal in the hands of some Ajagungbales who petitioned the police that he was sponsoring cultists and arming them with dangerous weapons restated his commitment to making Ikorodu crime-free.

He added, “These are individuals that have been making life safer for us in Ikoropdu and they deserve our support. They are being killed and there is even one of them in the hospital recuperating from an attack.”

Chief Kamorudeen Bombata, leader of the Onyabo Vigilance Group who in company with the deputy leader, Mr Lanre Olabinjo, thanked Hon. Agunbiade for the gesture which he stated would go a long way in enhancing their operations.

“I thank you on behalf of my group which has been making sacrifices in order to make Ikorodu peaceful and crime-free but we want you to do more in supporting us. I also want to appeal to other well-meaning individuals in Ikorodu to emulate the good works of Hon. Agunbiade”

The Onyabo leader also pledged that the group would make effective use of the items donated to them in improving security in Ikorodu and its environs.

Five pairs of security boot were also donated at the event by the Onyabo deputy leader, My Lanre Olabinjo to the Vigilance group.
