The first year on the throne of the Vice Chairman, Lagos State Council of Oba & Chiefs and the paramount ruler, Ikorodu Division, Oba (Engr.) Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, Adegorushen V, the Ayangbure of Ikorodu has been described as eventful, rewarding and resourceful.

This was the position of the former Lagos State Commissioner for Information, Youth & Social Development, Otunba (Sir) Ayodele Oluwole Elesho who is the Secretary of Oba Shotobi’s First Coronation Anniversary Committee, when he appeared on a special radio programme to commemorate the first coronation anniversary of the Ayangbure of Ikorodu on Ikorodu Radio Online.
