Our Mission Is To Dislodge George, Shelle From PDP Leadership, says PDP State Secretary
The State Secretary and former State Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olajide Ladeinde has stated that the determination of his faction of the ruling PDP is to dislodge the former Vice Chairman of the party, Chief Bode George and former State Chairman, Captain Tunji Shelle from positions of leadership in the state.
The Senator Buruji Kashamu faction leader stated this during the inauguration of the new PDP executive council in Ikorodu Local Government at the party’s secretariat in Ikorodu.
The State Secretary who added that he’s ready to sacrifice his position to achieve the aim of the Senator Buruji Kasamu faction, vowed that the former state chairman would never be allowed to lead the party again.
“We are working towards making sure that Chief Bode George never has total control of the party again. We belong to the Sheriff faction and Sen. Buruji is our leader. We are in control of the party at the ward, state and national levels.”
“Shelle destroyed our party and he can never lead us again. They are doing everything to return the control of the party after destroying it during the last election. We are ready to fight them to a standstill and make sure they never lead us again.”
Chief Ladeinde who stated that he was followed and shot around All Progressives Congress (APC) party secretariat in Lagos, blamed Chief Bode George and Captain Tunji Shelle for the electoral loss suffered by the party in the state during the last election.
“We have no reason losing Lagos State at the last election because money was released by the President, but only the State Chairman, Captain Shelle and Chief Bode George knew about it. We would have won more seats both at the federal and state levels.”
“The congress that we held is the final and nothing can change that” Chief Ladeinde assured the party men and women at the inauguration.
The State Secretary also challenged the youths in the party to start getting involved and ready to take-over the mantle of leadership in the party.
