As the coast gradually clearing for the local government elections in Lagos State, more people are declaring intentions to occupy the chairmanship and councillorship positions across the 20 Local Councils and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDA) in the state.
While many interests are borne of personal desires, others were as a result of people asking them to go into the race and redeem their people because of their exemplary and selfless services over the years. Few others are combination of the above factors.
One of such few people whose interests are borne out of personal conviction and urge by the people is Comrade (Mrs) Kehinde Okeowo, a Community Health Officer (rtd.), Community builder per excellence, an activist, a Comrade-leader, Unionist of note, a politician of remarkable ability, an exemplary Christian and a mother with deep sense of commitment and dedication to community development.
